By changing your Thinking
You change your Beliefs;

When you change your Beliefs
You change your Expectations;

When you change your Expectations
You change your Attitude;

When you change your Attitude
You change your Behaviour;

When you change your Behaviour
You change your Performance;

When you change your Performance
You change your Life!

Narrated Abu Huraira:

I heard Allah’s Apostle saying, Verily Allah created Mercy. The day He created it, He made it into one hundred parts. He withheld with Him ninety-nine parts, and sent its one part to all His creatures. Had the non-believer known of all the Mercy which is in the Hands of Allah, he would not lose hope of entering Paradise, and had the believer known of all the punishment which is present with Allah, he would not consider himself safe from the Hell-Fire.”

In the name of Allah, the most gracious, the most compassionate

On the day of judgment, no step shall man stir until he has answered questions on five aspects of his worldly existence: his life and how he spent it; his knowledge and what use he has made of it; his wealth, how he acquired it and how he has spent it; and his body and how he has utilized it.

……

So i got myself into something which i now have doubts in…did i do the right thing?…is Allah testing me?…He always is…and i might have failed in this area which i am weak in…now my distress is out of my own doing…what is a guy to do…what is a guy to do…makes me wonder if i was happier then or was i happier now…do i really need this in my life now…ive made the choice so whats in store for me i guess ill have to endure…thinking it would be easy at first but now…tables have turned on me…never would have expected it but thats life…did i prepare for this?

maybe i did….my trust is still with Allah….my priority is still with Allah…my struggle is still there….my Iman though is going through some tough times, sometimes it needs to be pushed, sometimes it doesnt….it has its ups and downs…im letting the nafs get the better of me…im letting myself fall into sin so easily….Allah….Allah….i can feel the shaitan trying to bring me down…theyre whispers can get to me at times…

trying to block them out…trying to block them out…

Dug myself into another hole…why did i let this happen…maybe its just one of those days or maybe not…all i can do is wait and see where this will go…waiting for what i dont know….patience2….

In the name of Allah, the most gracious, the most compassionate

From the Glorious Quran:

And establish regular prayers at the two ends of the day and at the approaches of the night: For those things, that are good remove those that are evil: Be that the word of remembrance to those who remember (their Lord): [1]

And be steadfast in patience; for verily Allah will not suffer the reward of the righteous to perish.

[Hud, Verse 114-115]

Hadith:

[1]

Narrated Ibn Masud:

A man kissed a woman and then came to Allah’s Apostle and told him of that, so this Divine Inspiration was revealed to the Prophet ‘And offer Prayers perfectly at the two ends of the day, and in some hours of the night; (i.e. (five) compulsory prayers). Verily, the good deeds remove the evil deeds (small sins) That is a reminder for the mindful.’ (11.114) The man said, Is this instruction for me only?’ The Prophet said, “It is for all those of my followers who encounter a similar situation.”

[Bukhari, vol.6, no.209]

Narrated Abu Dharr(r.a):

Allah’s Messenger (s.a.w) said to me: “(a) Be afraid of Allah and keep your duty to Him wherever you may be. (b) And follow up the evil deeds with the good deeds, (verily) the good deeds remove (blot out) the evil deeds. (c) And (treat) behave with people in a high standard of character.”

slacking off maybe? .

In the name of Allah, the most gracious, the most compassionate

From the Glorious Quran:

And Allah invites to the abode of peace and guides whom He pleases into the right path.

For those who do good is good (reward) and more (than this); and blackness or ignominy shall not cover their faces; these are the dwellers of the garden; in it they shall abide.

And (as for) those who have earned evil, the punishment of an evil is the like of it, and abasement shall come upon them– they shall have none to protect them from Allah– as if their faces had been covered with slices of the dense darkness of night; these are the inmates of the fire; in it they shall abide.

Words of wisdom .

In the name of Allah, the most gracious, the most compassionate

Sempurnakanlah solat kamu, maka sempurnalah hidup kamu…

Try to refine your prayers everytime. Spend time in your prayers, prostate properly….stand firm….dont rush your prayer….the more you pray the more easier it becomes. The more you spend time in your prayers the more calmer you become. Everytime youre down or in trouble, go pray and supplicate…who else do you turn to…do not underestimate the power of prayer as it is a communion with God. Be steadfast in your five daily prayers as a well known example of dialing a phone number where if you forget 1 digit it wont connect you to that person you want to call right. Same can be said with your prayers, the hot-line is 2, 4, 4, 3, 4….you wont get through the line if you miss one of your prayers…and pray the sunnah before and after prayers as a torn silk dress can only be fixed with the same silk material….so a damaged obligatory prayer can only be fixed by the two before and after sunnah prayers…so just in case on the day when you will be asked about your prayers….these sunnah can serve as a backup…never think that what you do is enough…so much sins…so much sins…tip the scales more on your good deeds…again, always have a contingency plan!!!

Continuation . . .

In the name of Allah, the most gracious, the most compassionate

From the Glorious Quran:

Among them are some who (pretend to) listen to thee: But canst thou make the deaf to hear,- even though they are without understanding?

And among them are some who look at thee: but canst thou guide the blind,- even though they will not see?

Verily Allah will not deal unjustly with man in aught: It is man that wrongs his own soul.

One day He will gather them together: (It will be) as if they had tarried but an hour of a day: they will recognise each other: assuredly those will be lost who denied the meeting with Allah and refused to receive true guidance.

Whether We show thee (realised in thy life-time) some part of what We promise them,- or We take thy soul (to Our Mercy) (Before that),- in any case, to Us is their return: ultimately Allah is witness, to all that they do.

[Yunus, verses 42-46]

just need to let loose .

Just one of those days…..

My heart is swaying….why?

im holding on to something which belongs in the past….why is it resurfacing again??

Why am i so weak in this….am i doing this out of my own nafs or am i just desiring something which i have no control over?

is it just me or are those lil devils playing tricks on me?

why am i desperately hoping for something which i have no knowledge of?

why cant i just let this go….this feeling comes and goes…

My only salvation is in Allah….but am i invoking His wrath?

im afraid of what it is that im thinking about…

am i committing sin just being in this wavy state of mine?

am i just thinking useless thoughts…

i am only human….i am only human….

im waiting for something….but i dont know what it is that i am waiting for…

im abit disturbed, yet enlightened at the same time….

The heart is clear but is being pricked by something….

yet i remain patient…for what exactly, only Allah knows….

Allah….Allah….

somethings a miss here….have i let this get the better of me??

all i can do is just prostrate myself to my Creator and take this day by day….

giving up is not an option for me….though i can feel something urging me to do something that which i do not want to do….

….two words come to mind….patience and constancy…..patience and constancy….

And on the day when We will gather them all together, then We will say to those who associated others (with Allah): Keep where you are, you and your associates; then We shall separate them widely one from another and their associates would say: It was not us that you served:

Therefore Allah is sufficient as a witness between us and you that we were quite unaware of your serving (us).

There shall every soul become acquainted with what it sent before, and they shall be brought back to Allah, their true Patron, and what they devised shall escape from them.

Say: Who gives you sustenance from the heaven and the earth? Or Who controls the hearing and the sight? And Who brings forth the living from the dead, and brings forth the dead from the living? And Who regulates the affairs? Then they will say: Allah. Say then: Will you not then guard (against evil)?
