From the Glorious Quran:
Among them are some who (pretend to) listen to thee: But canst thou make the deaf to hear,- even though they are without understanding?
And among them are some who look at thee: but canst thou guide the blind,- even though they will not see?
Verily Allah will not deal unjustly with man in aught: It is man that wrongs his own soul.
One day He will gather them together: (It will be) as if they had tarried but an hour of a day: they will recognise each other: assuredly those will be lost who denied the meeting with Allah and refused to receive true guidance.
Whether We show thee (realised in thy life-time) some part of what We promise them,- or We take thy soul (to Our Mercy) (Before that),- in any case, to Us is their return: ultimately Allah is witness, to all that they do.
[Yunus, verses 42-46]

From the Glorious Quran:
And Allah invites to the abode of peace and guides whom He pleases into the right path.
For those who do good is good (reward) and more (than this); and blackness or ignominy shall not cover their faces; these are the dwellers of the garden; in it they shall abide.
And (as for) those who have earned evil, the punishment of an evil is the like of it, and abasement shall come upon them– they shall have none to protect them from Allah– as if their faces had been covered with slices of the dense darkness of night; these are the inmates of the fire; in it they shall abide.
And on the day when We will gather them all together, then We will say to those who associated others (with Allah): Keep where you are, you and your associates; then We shall separate them widely one from another and their associates would say: It was not us that you served:
Therefore Allah is sufficient as a witness between us and you that we were quite unaware of your serving (us).
There shall every soul become acquainted with what it sent before, and they shall be brought back to Allah, their true Patron, and what they devised shall escape from them.
Say: Who gives you sustenance from the heaven and the earth? Or Who controls the hearing and the sight? And Who brings forth the living from the dead, and brings forth the dead from the living? And Who regulates the affairs? Then they will say: Allah. Say then: Will you not then guard (against evil)?

I was wondering what the benefits of Rejab were as i heard over the radio a few times that it is the month of Allah and there are things that you should do such as fasting, praying extra sunnah prayers….and such…..but i wanted to know why and like what sort of du’as or dzikrs i should do and all….
So i came on the office yesterday and behold Allah answered my thoughts by my working colleagues(aunty’s ~). One of them showed me a book on what to do in this blessed month and for the months leading up to ramadhan…..and they photocopied the part for Rejab for me….syukuralhamdulillah…
I never knew that this month has so much blessings in it….Masha-Allah….i suggest all of you who are reading this post go and get a book or ask someone what extra ibadah’s you can do for Rejab before it passes you by….Seriously….even if you just fast for a day in this month….Allah will give you extra blessings….Allah….read the hadiths on Rejab….it will get you going….really2….
I love this company that im working with….because im single, i really cant complain on the current pay as it is enough for me syukuralhamdulillah….but what i love about it is that you can feel the blessings here….the office people are friendly….the auntys always bring food everyday…they send employees for an islamic workshop(“krusus kesedaran diri” which im going to next week for 3 days!! ), islamic lectures conducted in the small masjid every now and again….the boss is encouraging us to do extra acts of worships as she herself from what i can see Allah gave her His taufik and hidayah after attending to that islamic workshop thing that theyre doing….Syukuralhamdullilah…
theres a small masjid for us to pray in…..every morning we read a really good long dua’ which i really2 like….we read yassin every friday….we just did dzikr for Rejab yesterday before starting work….Masha-Allah….the rezk is not just from the money i get but from all these extra acts of worship at work…..Masha-Allah….it makes me wonder if i want to go find another job somewhere else…i wouldnt mind the extra money from the government sector but i like the environment here….i dont think i want to move just yet…..anyways….
so again i advice we go get a book and read a thing or two about Rejab….and start acting upon it as it is the month of Allah and the month for taubat and to ask for forgiveness…..Allah2…..May we all benefit from this month and the coming months to Ramadhan…ameen~
Another “aunty” forwarded me this e-mail….sorry if its in malay….
FADHILAT BULAN REJAB
Bulan Rejab kembali lagi.
Kelebihan lain bulan Rejab:
3. Rejab bulan Allah, Sya’aban bulan Rasulullah. S.A.W, Ramadhan bulan umat Rasulullah S.A.W.
4. Rejab adalah bulan menabur benih, Sya’aban bulan menyiram tanaman manakala Ramadhan bulan menuai.
5. Amalan di dalam bulan Rejab menyucikan badan, Sya’aban menyucikan hati manakala Ramadhan menyucikan roh.
6. Rejab adalah bulan maghfirah (keampunan), Sya’aban bulan syafaat manakala Ramadhan bulan menggandakan kebajikan.
7. Rejab adalah bulan taubat, Sya’aban bulan muhibbah manakala Ramadhan bulan dilimpahi pahala amalan yang banyak.

So i was talking with the lil’ sis on the way back home from work and just suddenly talked a thing or two about Islam. She was asking me stuff on manners towards individuals if they are cruel to you…etc3.
So i replied if anyone does wrong to you, dont respect you or whatnot, dont return the favor….always try to be the better person in whatever circumstance….of course i know thats hard to do…thats why we have to at least try to show humbleness in ourselves as we also have our own faults…
Then i dont know how it went to this but as she is a younger sister and knowing my responsibility as a brother i sometimes do advice her on occasions…so instead of giving a full on lecture or telling her to do this or that i just gave her 4 simple questions and told her to get back to me whenever she has the answer…..so i said;
“everyone talks about sinning and belief in Allah….but you have to ask yourself….”
“Apa itu dusa?”(“What is sin?”)
“Apa bagi mu dusa ani?”(“what does sinning mean to you?”)
“Siapa itu Tuhan?”(“who is Allah?”)
“Apa bagimu Tuhan ani?”(“what does Allah mean to you?”)
I told her that you can tell how a persons iman or knowledge on religion if they can answer these questions not in detail per say but to a certain extent a kind of understanding of what the question really asks….
i told her that i know what goes on in that head of hers….
“its hard to answer isnt it?”
“you dont really know what sin is right….you dont comprehend what sin is….it has no weight in your heart…its just another word isnt it?”
she smiled and gave a nod and said;
“thats true….”
So i told her if you have the answer one day….just come to me and i’ll know that she would understand what i was talking about….
So i carried on,
“everyone believes in Allah but….”
she finished my sentence off for me,
“….but yet no one does what Allah commands….”
“Ahhh….thats trueeee~” said i…..
thats how the world is nowadays….committing sin is just another daily activity that we take for granted….i was like that before….i knew what sin was but as with all of us, it didnt have any meaning to me….i knew who Allah was but i only turned to Him when i was in need….Astaghfirallah….
i myself am not saying that i am an ‘alim or anything….noooo~….i only realize that i have my own sins that i need to repent to….i have my own sins that i have to worry about….i have my own past that i am not proud of….that is between me and Allah…like all of us…we all have sins that we hope to keep between ourselves and our Lord….
think about it…..not just past sins….but what about the sins you commit daily which you know and know not….i realized just between our daily prayers….we are constantly committing sin….Allah….thats just the ones i know….what about the ones i dont know….We sin by our eyes, ears, heart, tounge & limbs….whether we do it intentionally or unintentionally….
we are drowninggg~ in sin….really we are dear brothers and sisters….if you really think about it….you say the wrong things only to realize later that you have just made a prideful comment or belittling people or making wrong judgements, you unintentionally think about something bad, did, seen or heard something that you shouldnt have….etc3….
and we have the nerve to do major sins when we are already constantly committing minor sins….Allah…
Humbly bow yourselves down to Allah dear brothers and sisters…prostrate yourselves to the All-Mighty…dont think Allah will forgive you if you yourself dont go to Him….some people think that its ok if i do good here and there but dont even fulfill the five daily prayers in hopes that Allah is most merciful and forgiving that they would be granted Jannah…..noooo~
Prayers are the ‘KEY’ to paradise….the KEY ladies and gentlemen…..it is one of the core of Islam….it differentiates us from the disbelievers….it is the first thing to be asked on the day of judgment….and if your prayers are sound….then insya-Allah….you will be safe from the fire…..prayers in itself is a test….you have to have concentration or at least try to concentrate and not be heedless in prayers….Hope that Allah accept our daily prayers even if just one….ameen~
pray that Allah gives His taufik and hidayat to all of us and accepts our repentance and prayers….pray that He open our eyes and hearts….pray that He guides us to the straight path….Pray that He will bestow His mercy and forgiveness upon us All….Ameen~ Ameen~ Ya rabb’ al’ alameen~
So my dear readers who are reading this post….i would like us all to ponder upon the questions that i have raised….ask yourself, do you really know the answer??

Got it off from one of a youtube vid by princessmuslimah, She has a lot more video reminders which are quite insightful.
Ten sicknesses of the heart:
1.you believe in the existence of Allah Ta’ala, but you dont fulfill His commands
2.you say you love the Holy Prophet Muhammed(p.b.u.h), but you don not follow his sunnah
3.you read the Quran but you don not put it into practice
4.You enjoy the benefits from Allah Ta’ala, but you are not grateful to him
5.You acknowledge Shaytan as your enemy but you do not go against HIm
6.You want to enter paradise but you dont work for it
7.You dont want to be thrown into hell-fire, but you do not try to get away(i.e. do good deeds)
8.You believe that every living-thing will face death, but you do not prepare for it
9.You gossip and find faults in others, but you forget your own faults and mistakes
10.You bury the dead, but you don not take a lesson from it
From the Glorious Quran:
O ye who believe! Obey Allah and His Messenger, and turn not away from him when ye hear (him speak).
Nor be like those who say, “We hear,” but listen not:
For the worst of beasts in the sight of Allah are the deaf and the dumb,- those who understand not.
If Allah had found in them any good. He would indeed have made them listen: (As it is), if He had made them listen, they would but have turned back and declined (Faith).
O ye who believe! give your response to Allah and His Messenger, when He calleth you to that which will give you life; and know that Allah cometh in between a man and his heart, and that it is He to Whom ye shall (all) be gathered.

Hadith Share:
Narrated Ibn ‘Abbas(r.a): once i was behind the prophet(s.a.w) and he said: “O boy, i will teach you a few words:
(a) Be loyal and obedient to Allah [Worship Him (Alone)], Remember Him always, obey His Orders. He will save you from every evil and will take care of you in all spheres of life.
(b) Be loyal and obedient to Allah, you will find Him near (in front of you) i.e. He will respond to our requests.
(c) If you ask, ask Allah.
(d) If you seek help, seek help from Allah.
(e) Know that if all the people get together in order to benefit you with something, they will not be able to benefit you in anything except what Allah has decreed for you. And if they all get together in order to harm you with something, they will not be able to harm you in anything except what Allah has decreed for you.
The pens have stopped writings [Divine (Allah's) Preordainments]. And (the ink over) the papers (Book of Decress) have dried.”
