Friday is always a good and blessed day . wouldnt u agree? .

In the name of Allah, the most gracious, the most compassionate

So it got me thinking… we are like trees. When we are seedlings we need proper care…be kept from animals that want to eat us up or what not….then when we grow we need fertilizers and water to make us be firm and grow fast and strong. So that when we turn into tress we would be a healthy tree with a strong trunk and lively branches with lots of leaves and fruits.
What im getting to at here is that we need to put in the effort to give ourselves proper care….put ‘fertilizer’ and ‘water’ and cut off infected leaves from funguses or what nots….kill the insects that try to eat you up….what is essential is water which is what is obligatory upon you and the fertilizer is the extra acts that you do which is the sunnah….and the infected leaves are your bad habits and sins while the insects is the syaitan.

So we have a good example in nature of what we are like. Plus if we grow to be huge trees we can provide shade for the rest of the things around us and provide homes and fruits for animals….stuff like that….you can relate this to being a protector or someone you can depend or or trust or just someone who is ‘useful’ towards others…..the reason why a tree was created….and there was a reason why man and jinn were created….to worship Allah….to be a ‘big healthy tree’…. :D

The one who is in constant remembrance of Allah…..that is what the 5 daily prayers are for….when you pray your 5 daily prayers ‘on time’ and not treating it as a burden but rather a recharge of ones iman then you can see its effect on you….when you start to treat it as something valuable in your life….to treat it as a necessity….then you will see its fruits….when you put an utmost importance in your prayers….then the taufik and hidayah will come….insya-Allah…..the more you pray, the more at peace you become….the more you pray your sunnah prayers and try to concentrate each time….or atleast put an effort to concentrate….the more you would love to do these extra acts of worship….yes I am saying love…as in you WANT to do it….rather than something which is forced on to you….you will find that after each sunnah and obligatory prayer, your iman is recharged or gets stronger…a renewed faith…gives you back the strength….gives that drive to carry on and not to give up….

i was explaining to the lil bro that the 5 pillars of Islam are like actual pillars that hold up a house. So you need to enforce these basic fundamentals in order for it to withstand the wear and tear of nature…or life if you want to put it that way….Ok so each pillar supports each other….without one, the rest would surely fall with time….but if you got all 5 of these in check….standing firmly in the ground and rising high…it is in the very nature of building a house that after the pillars are set….you would put walls up, a roof, windows…..from my point of view, that would be your behavior as a muslim, the basic teachings of Islam….

Now, when it comes to the furnishings, these are what I was emphasizing to the lil bro that if you want a house that is comfortable and what not, you would buy leather chairs, nice floorings, good paint job, tv, airconditioning…..the lots basically….and how I related it to him was that this was achieved only by doing the sunnah of our beloved prophet (s.a.w)….all our sunnah prayers and acts of worship and good deeds, knowledge…are all these luxurious items for us to live in…..

Well….i don’t know if that makes any sense but that’s how I would put it….you need to fill your bags and boxes on this journey called life……your ticket has already been booked and you will board the the flight of ‘death’ sooner or later. What you need to do is to stuff as much good deeds and acts of worship before the final call is announced….you need to know and remember that if you decide to go on the straight path and are facing any obstacles and hardships….always remember the ‘promises’ of Allah….and Allah will never break His promises to His believing slaves….not those who are half/half….not those who just say im muslim and not pray or pray but still constantly sin by night and day….those who truly believe in Allah….who have true faith and try to struggle day in and day out….so to those who have changed I ‘salute’ you and may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon you and to those who still are living in a 50/50 state or just total ignorance….i pray that all you will be given the taufik and hidayah one day before its too late….Ameen~

A burst of thought .

In the name of Allah, the most gracious, the most compassionate

The smile of gratitude from peoples faces…..nothing beats more than that….nothing says thank you more than a sincere smile….be kind to people around you….try to humble yourself no matter what the circumstance….you will not enter heaven if you have an atoms weight worth of pride….so never think you are better than anybody….or try to rid that feeling of superiority over others….you are no one….nothing….only that with which Allah has blessed you with and hence you should acknowledge that….so be grateful and use your time wisely and use all that which is given to you for the purpose of seeking Allah’s mercy and pleasure….because everything will be asked on the day of judgment….everything…….the step you took, the money you were given, the breathe that you take…..everything…..so try to be mindful of what you do….and think how will you answer your Lord for the actions that you have chosen….

~need to get back to work….Assalamualaikum.~

Just a Reminder . [I] .

In the name of Allah, the most gracious, the most compassionate

By Sheikh Feiz

You will know when you are on the straight path when things get difficult…This path of truth is an uphill slope, it was not meant to be easy….and it is surrounded with tests of “hardships, difficulties, things which you may not want to do but you should do”….again…constant tests, whether small or big…constant struggle…You need to sacrifice alot of things….you have to endure all these with “Self-control, discipline, perseverance and patience”….”Hard work and a firm commitment upon the obligations and submission to ALLAH”….This world will only last you a few decades…this world is nothing compared to the hereafter….a normal day is already so short…what about a week…a month….a year….you can already feel it day by day, week by week that time is moving faster year by year….so many of these words being uttered by so many tongues….yet why arent we doing anything about it?

The sacrifice you put in and do everyday will be your luggage when the angel of death comes….All that hard work that you will do will be shown to you when you come to that point in time where nothing else would matter except your good deeds and acts of worship that you have saved up….A believer would not be afraid of death as they would know what awaits them after….to not be afraid of death but embracing it….masha-Allah….think….To embrace death….to have faith in what Allah has promised for the true believers….Allah…..everyday you sacrifice your time for Allah…you sacrifice your body, your weatlh, your everything for Allah….and you leave only a little or nothing for yourself…everyday hoping that your sins will be forgiven, to ask for Allah’s mercy, His forgiveness, His guidance, His love and pleasure….Then when that time comes…with the hopes that what you did will be accepted by the All-Mighty…those hardships will bear its fruits in your grave and in the hereafter….

who amongst us can say that??

How many people if you ask them are afraid of death….why are they afraid?? is it because of the guilt? their sins? is it because that they know what awaits them in the grave? or is it just because they dont want to know???

So think my dear brothers and sisters in islam….this world is nothing….nothing~ compared to that life that comes after….let not those who follow the path of syaitan persuade you into following them….go on the path of truth, the path to Jannah….The path to success….even though it will be hard….even though you will be tested….but you will have that faith in you of what Allah, the Most compassionate has in store for he/she who really believes….

Tawheed – An Explanation of its Meaning

Sunday, 15 January 2006

There has never been in the history of mankind a greater or more controversial statement as the Kalimah: “LAA ILAAHA ILL-ALLAH” (there is no one worthy of worship except Allah). These divinely revealed words divided the world into two camps: the camp of falsehood and the camp of truth. The callers of Tawheed throughout history had to endure severe testing and persecution because of the Kalimah. Moreover, they were the most vilified amongst their people:

“Do people think that they will be left alone because they say: ‘We believe’, and will not be tested. And We indeed tested those who were before them. And Allah will certainly make (it) known (the truth of) those who are true, and will certainly make (it) known (the falsehood of) those who are liars.” [EMQ 29:2-3]

Despite the intense provocation and animosity directed towards them, they held an uncompromising position where they were able to sacrifice their whole lives for Tawheed, and concerning themselves only in pleasing their Creator:

“Say: ‘Verily, my Salaah (prayer), my sacrifice, my living, and my dying are for Allah, the Lord of the ‘Aalameen (mankind, jinns and all that exists)’.” [EMQ 6:162]

They took this firm stance because they understood that Allah sent down the revelation (i.e. the Qur’aan) to the final Messenger Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) to establish the truth and to guide mankind by it. The people of Tawheed understood that Allah (the Most High) is the one who defines the purpose of mankind’s existence:

“And I (Allah) created not the jinns and humans except they should worship Me (Alone).” [EMQ 51:56]

So what is Tawheed? Why is it so controversial? And what are its implications?

Tawheed is to believe with the heart, to testify with the tongue and manifest with the limbs that there is no one worthy to obey, submit to and worship except Allah. To further explain, it is to single out Allah in His Lordship (ruboobiyyah) in His worship (uloohiyyah) and His names and attributes (al-Asmaa’ was-Sifaat). The Lordship of Allah is to recognize that Allah alone is the Creator, the Provider and the Most-Merciful etc. Tawheed ul-Uloohiyyah is the absolute right of Allah (glory be to Him) to be worshipped, elevated, obeyed, and for all ritual acts to be offered for Allah’s sake alone and should not be offered to anybody or anything else, such rituals as salaah (prayer), du’aa (supplication), at-tahaakum (arbitration), slaughtering and fasting etc.

“Say: ‘Shall I seek a lord other than Allah, while He is the Lord of all things?’” [EMQ 6:164]

The opposite or nullifier of Tawheed is Shirk. Shirk is to ascribe partners to Allah. It is in the form of directing the names, attributes or functions of Allah (glory be to Him) towards anyone or anything other than Him or along side Him. For example one of Allah’s name and attribute is al-Hakam meaning ‘the Legislator’ or ‘Law Maker’; thus, legislation is His (glory be to him) exclusive right. Therefore, anyone who legislates other than Allah is a Mushrik (one who commits shirk).

The Muwahhid (the one who worships Allah without committing shirk) must understand, accept and believe in two principles or Tawheed: The first is to disbelieve or reject Taaghout (anything that consents to being obeyed, followed or worshipped other than Allah) and then to believe, worship, submit and obey Allah alone:

“…Whosoever disbelieves in (or rejects) Taaghout then believes in Allah, he has grasped the most trustworthy knot of Islam (understood the meaning Laa ilaaha ill-Allah).” [EMQ 2:256]

If one understands the principles of Tawheed it is clear to see where the conflict arises as there must be a total rejection of all false religions and ideologies (i.e. democracy, socialism, Christianity or Judaism etc.) before one can call himself a believer in Allah. Allah condemns all those who practice another way of life other than Islam:

“Or have they partners with Allah (false gods), who have instituted for them a deen (way of life, ideology) which Allah has not allowed…” [EMQ 42:21]

To Allah belong the purest and the best qualities. In His infinite wisdom and knowledge, Allah knows what is best for mankind: “Should not He Who has created know? And He is the Most Kind and Courteous (to His slaves) All-Aware (of everything).”[EMQ 67:14]

Allah chose Islam as the Deen that should be believed in and followed: “…This day, I have perfected your Deen for you, completed My Favor upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your Deen.” [EMQ 5:3].

The Deen of Islam is the haq (truth) which Allah decreed to supersede over all other ways even if the people detest it: “It is He Who has sent His Messenger (Muhammad peace and blessings be upon him) with guidance and the Deen of truth (Islam), to make it superior over all ideologies even though the Mushrikoon (those who ascribe partners to Allah, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah) hate (it).” [EMQ 9:33]

Allah is most severe in Chastisement and warns the disbelievers of a torment facing them for not accepting Islam: “And whoever seeks a deen other than Islam, it will never be accepted of him, and in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers.” [EMQ 3:83]

Allah promises severe burning and scolding for all those who die on disbelief: “And whosoever does not believe in Allah and His Messenger (Muhammad SAW), then verily, We have prepared for the disbelievers a blazing Fire.” [EMQ 48:13]

But for those who believe in Allah and Islam, Allah promises happiness and contentment: “Verily! Those who believe (in Tawheed) and do righteous deeds, shall have the gardens of Paradise for their entertainment,” [EMQ 18:107] and: “(There is for him) rest and provision, and a Garden of delights (Paradise).” [EMQ 56:89]

Without Tawheed, the life of a person is meaningless and a total waste. The whole purpose of man’s creation is to worship Allah alone and if man fails to acknowledge this exclusive right of Allah then one will be amongst the dwellers of the Fire (Hell). He will have no one to blame but himself: what a horrible conclusion.

One must learn and act upon Tawheed if one wishes to be from the inhabitants of the Garden of Bliss where Allah will be pleased with him forever.

….So ask yourselves dear brothers and sisters….are you one who is in the camp of the Kufr?? Do you belong to those who are of the hypocrites or the camp of Iman…the camp of haqq….the camp of the true success???….

The Enemy’s Plot .

In the name of Allah, the most gracious, the most compassionate

By Sheikh Feiz Muhammed

*Note….this is not to say those who are in countries where there is no conflicts being fought that we should all go and abandon our countries and fight…that is only for those who are in the right circumstances, however…The sheikh is pointing out that we are living our lives too luxuriously and not giving a seconds thought for our brothers and sisters who are being slaughtered, tortured….oppressed….we dont even want to live in a constant struggle for Allah to keep our deen, to keep our iman….and this is our ummah’s problem now….alot dont want to struggle in the path of Allah….they are too caught up with their comfortable lives….

Especially for my beloved fellow brothers and sisters in Brunei:

“Nada lagi orang time ani kan bersusah payah kan agama nya.

As the shiekh said…..Muslims now are abandoning jihad….why dont we want to live our lives in a constant struggle in the path of Allah…..sacrificing your life for Allah….which also does not mean that you should be a suicide bomber….noooo….but rather live and die for the sake of Allah…to OBEY Him…to follow the sunnah of our Prophet….that which we can do….of course if you think like that….you wont even want to do much….waking up for subh’ prayers even though you are tired and already warm and cozy under your blankets can already be seen as a struggle for Allah….isnt that jihad itself?

…..Think……

A Meeting with Allah .

In the name of Allah, the most gracious, the most compassionate

This is an intense youtube video. I advice viewers to let it load til the end first then press play. Everyone looks forward to get what they want in Jannah or just to enter Jannah is already a great mercy and blessing from Allah…..But the greatest gift and reward is meeting God, Allah….To see what The Creator actually looks like…..Masha-Allah…..nothing else would be greater…..nothing else would matter….to live our lives just for that momentous Occasion….striving and having true faith….just to face our Lord…The Omnipotent….

I advice you bring a box of tissue near you….if this doesn’t get your eye ducts flush out like a roaring flood….i don’t know what else would….This clip never ceases to get a grip on your heart and squeezing your very soul into yearning for this very moment….

Allahuakbar!!! Allahuakbar!!! Allahuakbar!!!

….yet so many people still are still living their lives in ignorance….so many still are only muslim by name….If only they would just drop their egos…if only they would just try and listen…..if only they would just give up their useless habits…..If only they would stop and just think for just a second on what they are doing….If only they would just take that one step out of darkness….

A person chooses His/Her own path in life. Why then do people still choose the path that would lead to their destruction…..that would lead to being losers on the day of resurrection. Thing is deep inside all of us we know the truth….we know Allah is the truth, we know the Quran is the truth, we know Islam is the truth, we know heaven and hell and the day of judgment is truth….yet we still don’t want to acknowledge this truth…We have gone so far astray that we treat this haqq’, this truth as just a ritual habit passed down by our parents….

So many wasting their lives without meaning….so many doing things that theyre not supposed to do….so many souls crying out to be cleansed….yet their owners turn a blind eye and put on deaf ears….caught up in this temporary and materialistic life we call dun’ya….

We indulge in it so much so that even the slightest word or act of truth is seen as extremism. Just having a beard or going to the masjid for the 5 daily prayers, or just praying the prayers on time is already seen as being too much or too hard…we take the sunnah so lightly….and we take what is obligatory even more trivial…Allah….what has happened to our ummah?????

Truly we belong to the cursed indeed…..when are we going to start to realize? Why are we acting like we wont be judged? Why are we acting like we are immortals? Why cant we just stop and think? Just think….where is your life currently leading you on?

Ever heard of the word oppression?

If you really want to know what oppression is….you don’t have to look in the papers, you don’t have to turn on the t.v, you don’t have to look out in the streets….but look in your own selves for a change….you are oppressing your own souls….They are the ones who are afflicted with your own tyranny by depriving them their rights…..rights with which you have taken away from them….The rights of the acknowledgment of Allah, the rights of your 5 daily prayers…the rights of submission….the rights of obeying our Lord…You have not given them their proper provisions with which they are entitled to…

Your souls have already acknowledged their submission to Allah way before it is placed into your physical being…..but what about you….where then is that marvelous thing you call a brain….where then is that thing that you proclaim to have called an intellect….

Thats with those who have what Allah has blessed us with….even the inanimate objects like the sun, the moon, the planets, the earth….they are all muslims….why? because they ‘follow’ the decree of Allah….They submit and obey to His laws…Hence they are muslim….what about us? what about us?

Islam is not just about the do’s and dont’s….its not just about prayers…its the constant reminder of Allah, to be god conscious….To refine oneself everyday….to see your mistakes and correcting them….to be a better person…a better muslim….being kind and tolerant towards people around you….to lead your lives with proper meaning, proper guidance….to have discipline….to structure your life in ways that encourage this growth as a human being….

you see people who don’t act their age….they stay the way they are from those rebellious teenage years which they bring to adulthood and some even go far as even keeping those habits even when they get married. Why do people like to stay stagnant? why do we like to stay in that dark place called ignorance?

…Pray that you don’t be one of these people….pray that Allah gives you the strength and patience to go on His path….pray that Allah gives you His Taufik and Hidayah….Pray dear brothers and sisters….pray and supplicate…..Ask from Allah and believe an put your trust in Him….

bottom line is…i just want you all to think dear brothers and sisters…..just think…..even for just a moment….

From the Glorious Quran:

But those who reject Our signs and treat them with arrogance,- they are companions of the Fire, to dwell therein (for ever). [36]

Who is more unjust than one who invents a lie against Allah or rejects His Signs? For such, their portion appointed must reach them from the Book (of decrees): until, when our messengers (of death) arrive and take their souls, they say: “Where are the things that ye used to invoke besides Allah?” They will reply, “They have left us in the lurch,” And they will bear witness against themselves, that they had rejected Allah. [37]

To those who reject Our signs and treat them with arrogance, no opening will there be of the gates of heaven, nor will they enter the garden, until the camel can pass through the eye of the needle: Such is Our reward for those in sin [40]

For them there is Hell, as a couch (below) and folds and folds of covering above: such is Our requital of those who do wrong. [41]

But those who believe and work righteousness,- no burden do We place on any soul, but that which it can bear,- they will be Companions of the Garden, therein to dwell (for ever).[42]

The Companions of the Fire will call to the Companions of the Garden: “Pour down to us water or anything that Allah doth provide for your sustenance.” They will say: “Both these things hath Allah forbidden to those who rejected Him.” [50]

“Such as took their religion to be mere amusement and play, and were deceived by the life of the world.” That day shall We forget them as they forgot the meeting of this day of theirs, and as they were wont to reject Our signs.[51]

For We had certainly sent unto them a Book, based on knowledge, which We explained in detail,- a guide and a mercy to all who believe.[52]

[Al-Araf, Verse 36-7, 40-42, 50-52]

…So please dear brothers and sisters….do not reject the signs and ayats of Allah….Do not treat your religion as a mere name that was given to you when you were born…do not treat this religion that Allah gave us as ‘a mere amusement’ or ‘mere play’….You may enjoy this world now…but what about that which comes after….save yourselves….save yourselves….stop being selfish…think about your souls….think about change….surely if someone like me can do it…i think anyone in the depths of darkness who are drowning in their own sins can do it….i have been in the dark just as most of us have been….but i have made something called sacrifice…..my own personal Jihad….whether i like it or not….I have chosen my path….and i shall stick to it no matter what….im not and do not want to turn back to the way i was before because i have accepted my ‘fitrah’ as a human being…’fitrah’ is that natural inclination…a natural inclination to truth which is submission to Allah…so submit yourselves….Humbly bow down to the All-Mighty….acknowledge that fact and insya-Allah….That would already be a first step towards Him, the Most Glorious…

Assalamualaikum.

Proud to be Strange!!!

In the name of Allah, the most gracious, the most compassionate

Islam appears today to be strange to the majority of people as it was when it began. When it began strange refers to the early period of when the message of Tawheed was preached to the Arabs 1400 years ago. People then were living in ignorance because they had totally lost the message of Tawheed that was taught by prophet Esa(Jesus) (AS) 600 years before. Tawheed comes from the root word wuhda (to unite), and basically means monotheism. Tawheed is also to know that Allah is one and unique, he has no partners and he alone is worthy of Ibadah. Ibadah in Arabic means worship in that all the actions you do are for the sake of Allah. So this basic message is not new, and was here since Adam and Huwa(Eve) set foot on the earth. Muhammad (PBUH) tried his best to be a Muslim, and followed Allah’s terms for submission that was completed the day Muhammad (PBUH) died. Innovation (to add to Allah’s prescribed terms) is forbidden in Islam. This is the Muslims bitter reality today that also includes ignorance of their own Way(Deen) of Islam. There is no blind belief in Islam you have to have Iman (Will to verify the truth). The speech of Allah’s is in the Recitation(Al-Quran) and is where Allah challenges mankind to do this and advises you to use your intellect. Separate from the Al-Quran is the Sunnah (Narriations of the prophet Muhammed (PBUH) on how he lived and what he said). The are other meaning for Sunnah is Arabic depending on the context. The Shariah law is derived from these two sources. The narrations of the prophet Muhammad(PBUH) are well documented and preserved and have been categorised from Authentic to weak. Each narration comes with a chain of narrators, and the person/s who authenticated it. Allah is the real preserver of his Deen (Way) and no one can change it. It is with these strangers, Allah is preserving this Deen. There will always be a group of people who hold firm to this message no matter what the hardships. Millions of people have memorised the recitation in the original Arabic language.

When is Islam is adhered to correctly it makes you succeed not only in the hereafter but in this life. There is no monasticism in Islam, so Islam is a system for all aspects of life. The glorious past is evidence of this on what the learned Muslims contributed to humanity in sciences like Algebra and Astronomy.

Allah is not bound by time and so he is aware of the past, present and future. He gives the knowledge of the future to whom he wills, and of theses persons was Muhammad (PBUH), so that is why there many narrations to future events of which some that refer to the strangers.

People can keep tabs on people, so how very easy it is for our Creator to keeps tabs on us. No record is lost, everyone gets what they deserve.

People plot and plan against the Deen of Allah, but Allah also plots and plans and he is the best of planners. Islam will spread to every home like it has today through the back door. The media thinks that if it could draw Islam in a bad light and that it will succeed. Do they not know that Allah knows what they do, and people of reason and intellect will begin to ask questions? The media gave Islam free advertising, so now more people are beginning to enter Islam. It is a collective test today for the Muslims to revive and reform.

If you ask about us, then we do not care about the tyrants

In the name of Allah, the most gracious, the most compassionate

Another forwarded mail…..

Apa kehendakmu datang menemuiku?”

Taklimat Iblis, “Ya Nabi Allah! Janganlah engkau marah.

Kiranya aku menyerupai dirimu, maka terbakarlah diriku menjadi abu.

Kemudian kami hasut anak lelakinya Qabil supaya membunuh saudaranya Habil.

Pertanyaan Nabi (5):
“Hai Iblis! Jika umatku sholat karena Allah, bagaimana keadaanmu?”

Jawab Iblis:
“Sebesar-besarnya kesusahanku.

Pertanyaan Nabi (6):
“Jika umatku membaca Al-Quran karena Allah, bagaimana perasaanmu?”

Jawab Iblis:
“Jika mereka membaca Al-Quran karena Allah, maka rasa terbakarlah tubuhku, putus-putus segala uratku lalu aku lari daripadanya.”

Pertanyaan Nabi (7):
“Jika umatku mengerjakan haji karena Allah, bagaimana perasaanmu?”

Jawab Iblis:

Islam.”

Pertanyaan Nabi (12):
“Siapa yang mencahayakan muka engkau?”

Jawab Iblis:
“Orang yang berdosa, bersumpah bohong, saksi palsu, pemungkir janji.”

Pertanyaan Nabi (13):
“Apakah rahasia engkau kepada umatku?”

Jawab Iblis:
“Jika seorang Islam pergi buang air besar serta tidak membaca doa Pelindung syaitan, maka aku gosok-gosokkan najisnya sendiri ke badannya tanpa dia
sadari.”

Pertanyaan Nabi (14):
“Jika umatku bersatu dengan isterinya, bagaimana hal engkau?”

Jawab Iblis:

In the name of Allah, the most gracious, the most compassionate

From the Glorious Quran:

When My servants ask thee concerning Me, I am indeed close (to them): I listen to the prayer of every suppliant when he calleth on Me: Let them also, with a will, Listen to My call, and believe in Me: That they may walk in the right way.

[Al-Baqara, verse 186]

Or, Who listens to the (soul) distressed when it calls on Him, and Who relieves its suffering, and makes you (mankind) inheritors of the earth? (Can there be another) god besides Allah? Little it is that ye heed!

[An-Naml, verse 62]

Allah looks after one who prays to Him.

[Samira Fayyad Khawaldeh, The Most beautiful Names Of Allah]
